:SayingHi: I've designed several logo's for my business, Integrity Web Marketing, LLC. The first one is the one I'm currently using. I've been working on some others that I like as well. So far, the last one is my favorite. I think it says Intergrity a lot better. Your opinions and suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Note: none of the elements are sacred in these logo's, but the IWM in super ALBA is being use throughout the documentation that I use. So I need that to stay in the logo. And of course the name of my company. (e-Commerce with Integrity) is a natural byline, but it's not etched in stone. Otherwise have at it. :image23:

    Thanks

Not a bad start BK. For the first post, I like #4. Simple and clean. However, I like #5 (less text). Maybe combine these two? Think how this logo will look from a distance. all of the copy does not need to be readable (from a distance) but as long as the "look" stands out. Maybe try a wire frame globe to make the IWM pop out.
Nice colors and nice start though. Keep it up!

If your in a jam for logo ideas, this is a nice site to show what the big guys are doing. http://coolhomepages.com/sort/index.php?catName=Logos&sortType=DATE&sortDir=DESC&pageNo=5&nRPP=6

I too have to go with #4.. Its the professional way to go.. Also as Borpean said #5 has an element of charm as well. I see #4 and I see professional.. I see #5 and I see the message.. Good looking work..

I think you've created more than enough

Bob, in my opinion #4 is the one to go with, don't "beat yourself" up with redo's......Take it from an old timer and move on to another project..............
    Good luck

    Thanks!

I think I agree. I've taken your advice to combine 4 & 5 and this is what I've come up with. I really think I'm on to something with this one. I like the globe colored; but the wire frame globe is a good idea. Any way what do you think of my latest attempts? I can't make up my mind. I think the second one in this group looks a little better than the first. All I did was add a bit more space between Web & Marketing. I also like the third because the full name of the company is continuous. But I'm stuck, should I go with the Blue or the Green? :image25:
Note: My brother suggested the slogan changes. He's been in business since 1983 and I trust him.

    Now I'm confused

I thought you said combine #4 & #5 in the original msg. I want this logo to be eye catching and professional. to me #4 is a bit bland. I'm liking the 3rd one in the last set I showed. Could you be a bit more specific about what's right with #4 and what's wrong with the last set, please. I'm not sure I understand. do you mean something like this?

    Back to the begining

    Borpean said
:image10-1: I never saw that page before, but I think I get it now. Keep it simple. How about these? I'm really liking the blue halo; but I think #4 is the winner, which is where I began.

Hi Bob... I didn't mean to confuse or sound harsh in the critique. If it came off that way, it's because I like the logo but think (my opinion again) it's missing something. Be it font type, to much copy, placement etc. Again, shoot for simple and clean. Just for kicks take #3 and place your tag line in a sans serif font below the globe(sans serif are fonts that have no feet, like the kind you have now. Sans serif is Arial etc...) Just an idea. But use what you feel is best though!
this last group of logos are the best. Your on the right track.
Again these are just my options to help spark some ideas, you don't have to use them. Logo ideas can go through many cycles. Your doing great!
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Bob,

I'd be tempted to roll with something more like this... I love your design, Borpean is right though, just a bit too busy... Try and imagine your logo on everything possible, think big and you'll realize it would be confusing to most passerbys...

Simple is better, especially on a large billboard, or in this case a website... Pay no attention to the shotty specks outside the globe, as my work computer is worthless with it comes to editing...

    Ryan.

    Nailed it!

Thanks guys for makeing me think! I'm not offended at all. You're right I was over doing it a bit. But I'm having fun too. This is my Logo. Simple and sweet. I just use the globe in my website template and it looks great. I haven't locked in the web address yet; it might be different, but you get the idea. After much discusion and thought. The slogan says it all. Hope you agree. This is the one I'm going with.

Thanks much for you input, I really appreciate it.

    Excellent Bob.

    Nice job.
All of the fancy bells and whistles can't compete with a simple logo (which is really what a logo is all about in the end).

Very good. See, now you can use that globe and IWM as your identity. Very nice :)
