(searching for "logo jellybean" gives same result)

Now i don't know a lot about site optimization, tagging, metatags and whatnots (...), but it seems to
me that when it comes to getting a high ranked position in googles search result index, these aren't to bad for a blog entry 4 (!) days old, on a free blogging service in The Netherlands....

I have, of course, no idea how many people would actually search for a "jellybean logo" or the relevance of this, but i just can't be the only one!....right?

this begs the question: "where did these come from?"

If someone would like to take "a stabe" at figuring out what the reasons for these (reasonably and argueably high) google rankings are, then please be my guest!.
I would definitely like to learn more about the subject.

The site http://mdsign.punt.nl is in Dutch but i try to keep it in English as much as i can (editing the blog is limited)
In the top menu where it says "stats"you can view some of the ....euh...stats.
(not impressive at all, wich makes it even wierder and 80% through this forum!)

Feel free to ask me any questions about this post, i'm looking forward to see what you come up with.

    Thanx
    :image31:MD

Your site or keywords got indexed pretty quick. Yes I would say that "Jellybean Logo" is a rare search term and why it is probably ranked pretty high for that search. It can happen with terms that are not searched that much. So now if someone else searches for "jellybean Logo" they will find your site. :D

I am tired or I would go into more information on this for you. Maybe later. I am learning Joomla and my brain is tired. LOL

Yep, Joomla will tire out your brain no doubt!!!

As for SEO, try your search again today and see your results...I've had great success at getting Joomla pages to index quickly. What is the title of your webpages? That will play into it as well.. If it's titled " Jellybean Logo", that's a big part of it...

I will share more SEO tips once I get my site up and running. Just a little busy with it right now. I am glad to see this area of the forum up. It is a must for any online site.

I would say Chris said it best in his first post but actually you just might be the only one using the search term Jelly bean logo or any of the variants you listed above. Ok there might be a couple other people that search for it but it will not be a high volume search phrase unless something major pops up on the net that is similar in relevance to your search phrases. This is actually a tactic a lot of SEO scam artist do when you hire them is that they optimize your site for some super rare crazy search phrases and then they say "TaDa" you are the first listing on every major search engine "Congratulations"!.. Then they say pay me.. Something that does not relate to a lot of other things gets indexed rather quickly.. Well a better way of saying is something that does not have major competition against it gets indexed fast.
