1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

I've found posts here that claim that WGC and TLC have a high degree of compatibility, but I can't see any of the installed TLC templates in WGC.

And none of the WGC templates are visible in the templates list in TLC.

    Have I installed something incorrectly?

You are not seeing the templates in the "Art Center" of WGC?

    No.

The template sets listed in TLC 5.2 are:

    Corporate Edition
    Web 2.0 Edition

The template sets listed in the WGC Art Center are:

    eCover Images of CDs
    eCovers
    Logo Set 1
    Logo Set 2
    Mascots
    Membership Cards
    Spines & Sides
    Travel & Leisure

Until you posted I hadn't noticed that the WCG didn't have all my installed editions either, however, I was able to get the templates for the Web 2.0 edition to show in WGC's drop down menu by:
    1) Right clicking on the TLC application icon.
    2) Choosing "show package content"
    3) Clicking on MAC OS
    4) Clicking Logo Libraries opening Webstyle 2.O (or any logo set templates)
    5) Selecting all in a set and copy all in a set
    6) Right Clicking WGC application icon and choosing "Show original" double clicking and opening the ART Center.
    7) Adding a new folder named appropriately then pasting I now have the Web 2.0 templates
showing and being able to launch from the WGC dropdown menu.

Hmmm.... OK, but doesn't that imply that I have to do the same thing for the Logo Elements too?

...and what about the contents of the Resources folder (e.g. Resources>Canvas>Fonts and Resources>Images) ???

That makes for a really difficult install process for add-ons!

You shouldn't have to because the only thing technically different between the editions is the "templates" the rest is simply the basics program.
