web 2.0 style (well...sort of) logo in TLC.
... is that an image-in-text effect?
No mate, all done with shading and masking various shapes (shape font and windings) in TLC!.
No parts were exported and re-imported.
I just thought i'd show a sample of this web 2.0 style we've seen pop up all over the place (the star shaped badge especially) and that you don't need 3rd party software to get started trying out this style.
i'll have a "making of" online soon.
Well done MD. I was messing with this the other night. TLC has allot of potential if the user just sits down and plays with it.
Well I was going to show a web 2.0 related logo I did a while back for a person on another forum but the image hosting service does not show it anymore.. I have it saved on my other computer so hopefully Ill show it one day.. Anyway good work MD.
Nice work MD. I'm just getting around to reading some threads I missed while I was out of town. Looking forward to the "making of"...
Oh I like that MD - very nice!
I guess I better sit down with TLC and see what I can do, since it is my intention to start designing vBulletin themes with a more web 2.0 flair.
Here's the video tutorial!
(with awesome Dutch accent narration...)
on how to create this web 2.0 style logo with the logo creator.
I've also included a TLC Template file in my blog entry for you to download so you can recreate and modify the Logo to make your own.
Let me know what you think.
ooohhhh I can't wait to try this, sometime this week.
Great Tutorial! thanks
I always have fun :image28:
