Hello, I'm hoping someone has a tip to get rid of uneven fonts in my logo. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I create a logo and add text, the text is often uneven ( not straight at the bottom ) Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? I really appreciate the help. Thanks

    Small fonts are uneven

    Hi Kat.
    ... it's not you - it's the software unfortunatly.

I've been trying to fix this for quite some time.
It only happens with certain fonts. The thinner the font (like Times) the more uneven it gets when you reduce it.

A font like "Chachi" works great at very small sizes.
I can only say - try a different font. You can use any of your own fonts (fonts found on your computer).

Grab some free fonts from the free font archives (Do a Google search for 'Free fonts') and look around.

    Hope this helps a bit!

... welcome to the forum by the way!

I just ran into the same problem. That's kind of annoying.

Any ETA on when this might get fixed, or a recommended serif-font to use that will scale well at reduced-scale???

    Thanks,
    AJ

Some problems are actually caused at the font foundry level. Where a font will look good in a word processing application when in a graphic application the flaw is just more noticeable.
