Hey everybody,, all you logo-gurus .

I'm trying to learn how to make an image appear as if it's cut-out of the object.

With the 3 stars, which one leaves that visual impression the best?? left side, middle or the right side??

and thank you for all your help again.

You could always make it an actual cut out.. Just export as a tgif and use the eyedropper to remove the stars center color.Hint if you make your background and the star the same color you remove both and will have the crown on a transparent background.

I must be doing something wrong,,cuz nothing changed..?? help pleasssse..some more...?? LOL and thank you

do I export it from in TLC?? and the main reason I ask that question, is cuz the majority of the stuff i've been doing and have done, is thru that JASC paintshop??

or export in TLC,and then re-open in TLC???

Ok...lets do it the TLC way as much as possible. Import your crown. Now type the letter 5 and choose the embedded font "Shapes", that will make a 5 pointed star. You can then outline the star if you choose to..Color your star/s any color. Export using "More export options" tgif. Use the eye dropper to choose the color of the stars center.BTW You can choose the same color as the background which will make things easier. Now you can import the image back and continue working.

I sent my star back and forth from TLC to paint I don't know how many times changing/modifying the colour and the thickness of my outline of my star, adn could have been doing it here in TLC...
