    Hello all,

I would like to share my last entry from my Forum with all of you who have been by our side the past few years...........

    ..............................................................

Living in the 'World of Cancer' has taught us that you never know what to expect from one day to the next, and you are forever looking over your shoulder at what will be the next set back in the battle's fought to SURVIVE. Over the past 5 years, as we fought our 'Fight for life', we've been witness to 22 fights lost. 22 Children who will never experience Life, as we've all come to know, and take for granted, on a daily basis. 22 Children who only wanted to be free of pain, nausea, chemicals, Dr's and Nurses. 22 Children who just wanted to be 'CHILDREN'. 22 Children who fought right alongside the too few that have survived. 22 Children who lost to cancer.

With each Child we lost to cancer came a deeper concern for the Life of our own cancer patient. Statistics were against our cancer patient from the day he was diagnosed; statistics were all we had, statistics were unbearable to read. From the beginning, our cancer patient refused to be a 'Statistic', and began to rewrite the book on cancer statistic's as they pertain to childhood cancer. The simple 'Will to Live' will not be defeated by cell mutation. The 'WILL To LIVE' will NOT be defeated........period. Our cancer patient followed the 'rules' as the "Protocol" played out, and his childhood was lost to it. 10 years old, 11 years old, 12 years old, 13 years old, 14 years old, 15 years old..........all given up to fight the 'War with Cancer'.

Upon the completion of our Cancer Patients' surgery this past Friday, in a conversation with his Dr., we were told the very same words the parents of these 22 Children would never be witness to. Our cancer patient is now 5 years out from diagnosis, and he is considered "CURED" of his cancer. Our cancer patient was still in the recovery room, and was unaware of what we've just been told. Did we celebrate? no. Did we brake down and cry? no. Did we hug for Joy? no. We simply looked at eachother, and thought in unison.......is it really over? There is really no celebrating in the 'World of Cancer', you are simply added to the list of 'statistics'.............

Billy is 'considered Cured' of cancer........Thank you Lord, and all those of you who have been with us, and also made it possible.

Please continue to Pray for the "Children of cancer"

    Bill
