    Hey All,

I purchased TLC v5 about a year and half ago, everything worked great until about 5 months ago. It no longer wants to open at all. I double click the program, the mouse pointer starts to think and the icon shows up in the task bar, then after about 4-5 seconds it disappears with no error. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still same problem. If I check the Event Viewer, I get a generic Event ID 1000: Faulting application name: The Logo Creator v5.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4432a540.

BTW: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, 4.5GHz Quad Core, 8GB RAM

    Any thoughts or Ideas?

This might be a shot in the air ... but I had another program with the same issue and I managed to open it by right clicking the program icon and chose 'Run as administrator'.

It might work, it might not - doesn't hurt trying?

Thanks, I have tried both and still no dice. I have even tried uninstalling, deleting all files from my user App Data and manually scrubbing my registry.

ok and you're 100% sure all files connected to the program was deleted on your computer? That nothing is still 'messing up' with the new installation?

Ok - it does sound very odd - and I do believe Marc would be the guy to go to since you have tried everything else.
