You should try a thumb drive save if saving to your desktop isn't working.

Thanks, I tried that and that did not work.

Here is one thing that is applicable. I did a clean reinstall of Mac Lion and then restored LC with Time Machine. It used to work fine before that, but now it's doing this. I will write Marc and ask for a new dmg. Seem right?

I looked and found that I still had the 6.0 dmg and so I used CleanMyMac to completely uninstall 6.6. I then installed 6.0 and then upgraded to 6.6. I then tried again and got the exact same behavior when trying to save the .swf to either my hard drive or a thumb drive.

I'm a Windows guy, but boy oh boy! do I have some crazy ideas......

Any chance you have a SSD, and have the main Logo creator EXE file (Which can be anywhere on your computer) on the SSD, but have the laughingbird documents folder on another hard drive?

Gcuneo2, no I don't have a SSD (as I understand what an SSD is). Pretty sure, anyway. KD-did, I have adobe air current and still having this problem not being able to save SWF files.

If your Adobe Air isn't running correctly then your TLC won't run correctly. Maybe a re-install is in order.

I have the most current Adobe Air installed and approximately 7 other AA programs running perfectly. I am concerned that if I uninstall this, the programs will cease to work and I might have to reinstall again.

    Hi there Dan!
    Really sorry to hear this.

I thought we had this bug fixed.
It only happens in Lion, not Mtn Lion.

If you purchased the Logo Creator from the Apple store, the new version (v6.7) is ready and you can download it from the Apple store menu.

If not - the new v6.7 will be out VERY shortly (a few days).
The new version will fix the SWF output.

Sorry for the sloggy delay in getting to this thread.
KD tried every trick in the book :D

but in the end. It's a bug.

    - Marc

Hey, thanks for the reply! Glad to know that we will soon have an update that's going to fix it. I got it directly from your site, Marc, so I'll be patient.

I tried upgrading my system to Mountain Lion but it brought difficulties, and so the Mac guys said I should downgrade back to Lion. Glad to know your new version is going to work for us Lion People.

It's an excellent forum... no upsets from me to find myself in the company of so many good people. People going out of their way to help each other and all in good cheer. I LOVE forums like this.

    Hi there Dan.

Well... after all this time, guess what.
SWFs just can't output on Mac Lion.

    We've tried everything.

the Good news is that SWF output works great in the new Mavricks OS (10.9).
And the better news is that Mavricks is FREE from Apple.

It takes about 30 minutes to install (directly from the Mac App store) and the whole computer feels faster after you update.

I've been using in for a few weeks and I love it.

And, The Logo Creator outputs SWF files on it.

Let me know if you're able to update the OS Dan
(and incidentally... it's much easier to move to Mavricks than it was to go from Lion to Mtn Lion I'm happy to say)

    Marc
