I just was looking for opinions on this design for my company. Our website is quite bland, and im trying to add a little life to it.

    Appreciate your feedback.

Hope I attached the logo properly

    Thank you!

Thanks for your opinion Erik, and the warm welcome!
Im not used to drawing logos on the computer, this is my first attempt using the Logo Creator. I am a protrait artist and have a solid feel for blending and understanding light sources.

The logo is a Japanese Company, and I advised the company to make it more American, since this is the United States of America and it would better generate business. Well...it has worked extermely well. We have doubled our work force and trying to keep up with production. Sometimes a little adjustment to a company can go a long way.

    Again, I appreciate your imput!

    Thank you,
    Smartguy Joe

    G'day Joe,

I'd nudge the mirrored text to the left to align with the line above.

    Very smart logo btw.

    Hi Smartguy,

Great use of the "Shape" font -
    The logo looks great!
I'm glad to see that one of the shapes (the chain link) applies perfectly to your company!

If any of you reading this are interested in using this built in 'shape font' (for drawing circles, squares or triangles... or chain links into your logo)

check out this tutorial and scroll down for the 'shape font' tutorial!

    Nice work Smartguy!

welcome.. and really nice work.. your first logo! good job!

I do agree with Lats, the mirrored image looks slightly off. And, a minor thing... but I might make the text on top ("Your Link...") bold, larger or maybe even move it down a bit closer to the graphic.

    really good job!

Thank you for all your comments

Thank you, Jamirae, Marc, Lats, Nicole

I appreciate the kind words. I did make the recommended adjustments by by nudging it to the left. I will post the final look when I leave work today. I also lowered the "Your Link to Resistance Welding". I did get good reviews from Dengensha America. It's short, precise and to the point.

Again, Thanks for your imput. It is well appreciated.

    Regards,
    Joe
