    Hi

I have just purchased The Flash Ad Creator and it works well but I would have expected to be able to resize the output!

I searched the forum and found the following posted on the 25th May 2006 in the wish list.

    ***************
Resizing is critical also. Maybe I don't want a 328 x 60 banner (for example), but a 700 x 400 Header Graphic with flash that compels my viewer to surf my site. Or maybe I want to just point out a few benefits of doing business with me with the space on my site where I'd want it is 300 x 127 ... I need the ability to size it.

    ***************

There was a general undertaking to do this but I haven't been able to find a resize option.

To resize after generation causes a loss in image quality

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Paul

    Valleyboy,

Check the source code after you imput it into your webpage. You should be able to add parameters for sizing inside the embed tags... send me a link and i'll experiment.

    Hi Homesight
Thanks for the input. I have resized this way but the images degrade. What is needed is a size option prior to generation

That option, along with selecting background colors and a few other more user-friendly options has been on a many users request list. It took several years between updates of FAC, but hopefully this will be one of the upgrades on a new update.

Thanks for the comments. I notice it was two years or so since someone else requested the same thing and upgrades were mentioned then so I won't hold my breath. Pity because it spoils a good piece of software.

I will say, Marc tries to make sure any updates that come are free from bugs.
