    Hi
I made my first flash ad with FAC & I'm almost satisfied with except that even after resizing it, by changing the dimensions in the html code, this is not respected at least by I.E. 6.0 ...
Firefox & Opera show the resized ad, but in IE, it is still the same size, taking much more space than is good.

Does everyone have that with I.E.6 (this is still used by a number of people who for one reason or other have not yet/cannot upgrade)?
Is there anyway out of this? (no flash experience)
    Regards

I don't have IE6 on my computer so can not check if it will work with resized flash files but IE6 is a VERY old application now so may not. IE7 certainly supports resizing. I did a simple test page some time ago showing 3 different sizes of the same ad, try it with your IE6 installation and let me know if it works.

    Hi

I discovered that even in IE 8.0 there is the same issue. The problem is I think in the architecture of the particular layout theme I use for my Drupal-CMS based site.
If you look at that ad in http://www.orbituganda.com/ using IE, it cannot be kept within the box about the size of the 2 beside it with the RSS feeds & the slide show. It

If it was a general problem with IE, then the same ad would behave the same way here: http://www.habarisearch.com/ (bottom).

Other browsers, including FF & Opera render it correctly.

So I think it needs trying adjusting the theme code as the only alternative.

    Thanks 4 reponding.
