Hello all of you talented people.

I am trying to come up with a logo.....I played around awhile today and came up with these ideas......I know you can probably suggest better or do better.

Your thoughts, revisions and ideas are greatly appreciated.

The company is "Your Photo Safe" slogan....Saving Memories

    concept is saving photos.

Thanks in advance and I am wishing you each a wonderful weekend.

Hey MZ (Taryn), welcome to the forum. How long have you used TLC? You are off to a good start. Designing logos takes time and practice. Lots of practice. Interesting use of the 'ribbon' image in the last two. At first glance it looks more like a U than a Y, but I see where you were going. Say, what is the image in the 1st logo in the word "Your"? I couldn't quite make it out. Could be my eye sight :) Talk to you soon.

    Hi Allan,

Thanks for the reply. Just downloaded the TLC demo today and spent this afternoon playing around.

Been toying around with the logo idea for about a week.

The object in the O is one of the images that looks like a globe, the white one that is available.

Yah, i did a play on the swish.......i see the u......as you pointed out.

I am open to any ideas and suggestions you may have.

I have looked at past posts and like how clean they are....not sure what it is that makes them concise yet not bland......kinda fun.....but not real creative.

    thanks again for your reply.

    Hey Taryn...
    Nice work.

how about incorporating an actual safe?
hop over to a site like http://www.clipart.com or http://www.photoobjects.net.

You can import the image into TLC using the File > Import option.

Perhaps use the dial on the safe for the letter "0" in "Your" or something to that effect.

    Just a thought!

    okay........i know this isn't it.....but gave it a try.

I don't think we are suppose to use photos for logos.....I think these are photos.

Where is it you are located? I am getting tired, been playing with this all day so may retire soon but will check in again tomorrow.

    thanks for your interest.
hope you have a nice evening or day if you are accross the pond.

Hey Taryn, Here's a combo I drew for ya. If you want any changes made to it let me know. If you don't use, I won't be offended. Save it for later. -Allen

If you want the triangle removed just say so.

I've never used a photo in a logo, but your one on the left looks like a great banner ad for web use or something.

    Hi mzphoto,
Here's a design with a vault grafic, i made it from scratch and attatched the .png file so you can use it with TLC, the camera grafic is just a simple collection of rectangles and circles and you'll have no problem doing something like that in TLC.
I used this font just because it looks pretty, but you could use the same font as in your first designs ( the blue/pink ones) or create some cool text effects in TLC.

    Hope it helps.

Well, I've just been having fun. Couldn't help myself - it's TLC. Sucks you in and doesn't let go.

The last one I did the lens completely in TLC.

No worries mate, have fun! :image10-2:

    Thanx mate,
i made it in Ulead Photoimpact 12 and really dig what you did with it!
I've been using photoimpact since version #5 and it just keeps getting better, you can download a trail of the latest version (photoimpact X3) right here or watch a little demo here.
I've att. the original file (.ufo inside the .zip) if you want to have a closer look.
I'm sure you can achieve the same result in TLC because i've seen it done over and over on this forum (you know who you are..)

    See ya

Everybody playing around with the "safe" idea naturally led to a lock of some sort. So, here is my idea.

Taryn, Nice work! You really won't be needing our help. :image28: You've improved already and it's only been a few days! How did it look with a small case "f"?
