    Hello All

Well I could have said "Other Programs" but I consider them "tools" of the trade. As a person that freelances in "graphic design, web development, programming, and multimedia" along with running a computer help site. I have a full range of tools to work with.

I was just wondering what other tools members here have at their disposal to do their work with, or which ones just use TLC? To start it off I will list the tools in my toolbox <-"computer".
    • TLC (new addition to tool set)
    • Adode Photoshop CS
    • Flash MX 2004 Profressional
    • MAYA Complete
    • Lightware 3D
    • Blender 3D
    • Adobe Pagemaker
    • SONAR 4.0
    • Adobe Premiere
    • FruitLoops

Now for those people that are new to TLC, I am going to make some FREE video tutorials that will go over the most everything. Just because I think this is a cool tool for anyone getting into graphic design. Start by making logos is a wonderful place to begin. So sense the program really isn't all that expensive, I think providing FREE videos would be a cool idea. Of course the videos on the other software packages are for sale... LOL

    The tools I have are:
#1 TLC (I use it the most)
Business Card Maker (Hemera) very good program. I don't do business cards on it. I use the second most
    Corel Draw& Corel 3d (learning)
Photoshop CS(learning) taking a course in January
JUST ORDERED: 2 logo design books by Dan Antonelli with close to 400 logo designs featured and tons of tips and general knowledge of the design process of logos and I also ordered 12 back issues of SIGNCRAFT magazine http://www.signcraft.com that has designs of signs and articles on logo design (to go with the about 60 other magazines I already have.
Soooo, that is what my tool box consists of. (the books and magazines are in the mail.) P.S. I forgot to mention that I have clipart software that puts me with well over a million images and I just ordered Art Explosion. You can never really have enough tools.

Yes I guess it is an arsenal. One that I have accumilated over the years. Sense my love is computers, and my wife "naturally", I make my living on through freelancing. It has took me nearly 25 years to learn all those tools, plus some not mentioned.

I have been working with TLC getting use to it so I can make some good video tutorials. With my experience in all the other programs I have, I pick up software pretty quick. I hope to provide some good tutorials for the newbies here.

Bryce 5 and Poser (on the dusty shelf for now)
    Photo Impact 10 (occasional use)
Macromedia Flash and Fireworks (also dusty)
Serif 3D Plus and Drawplus (dusty)
    Xara webstyle 4 (used occasionally)
Gloodle and Tux paint for the kids but I play with them too LOL
And of course everybodies fav TLC

I use Painshop pro alot I suppose if I ever master it I'll move on to trying to master the others I have. The dusty ones are installed but I only use them once in a while. I sort of gave up on learning Bryce and Poser for the time being.

MMm would love MAYA. I used to work in SoftImage (I believe bought by Maya? Also used to work with Lightwave and 3D studio Max. This was over 5 years ago though, so the 3D work is rusty.

Hmmm mmmaybe there should be The3DCreator. hmm huh? hmm?? :)

De nada, I've been working on one of those car projects... it's an ant's work! an advice, just make sure that you are using "link, tint, and shade of a color" to save time when in the future you want to change the color of your design.

Que tengas un buen día tu también.
