    HI,

I was trying to take an orb and the double lined swooch and over lay the swooch on top of the orb. This is fine but I want the swooch to appear to be raping around the orb with part of it on top and the other part disappearing behind it as if a circle around the orb.

Hope this make sense. I just purchased and download TLC logo creator and it is version 5.2 and I am not real please with tutorials or manual etc. Need this one quick.

There is a couple of ways that you can go. I believe the easiest would be using the technique for splitting an orb discussed on the thread,# 3 post .http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6950&highlight=masking on the swoosh. Save both sides to place on top and one behind the orb after you have masked the orb with the swoosh onto top of the orb.Cut the opacity slightly as the tail is never as the head of a comet.
The other is to use the masking technique mentioned in the thread
    http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6805&highlight=custom+image
Place your orb, part of the swoosh/es for the tail and layer the other part on top.
You should be able to use one of the built in shapes in the dingbat font oddly enough called "Shapes"to make a mask to lay over the top or use the use the one in the thread . It is best to click on the mask to enlarge it so it will be a Tpng for you .Save as of the thumbnail won't be a Tpng.Import your image back into TLC after getting rid of the mask and proceed from there.
