    Hi All,
I'm still new at this and would really appreciate some help in coming up with a creative logo for our recently formed practice - HLM Architect.
The idea that we had initially is to have the 3 letters with a sense of dynamic/ in motion which rest above the more static, spaced out and elongated string of letters for 'Architect'.
    Any ideas?
    Thx ever so much

Thanks Doc, that's a keeper. Hoping to see if others might have further refreshing ideas for me to fiddle with.

hmph - you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, and I'm not the brightest bulb in the box... do I see a trend??

    Welcome to here!

@ Lamo - I love the last set, with the buildings. Slick.

I like your last submission Lamo, for me a combination of the 2 designs using the blue HLM with the yellow 'path' swoosh would be awesome.

I have had another play with the HLM building shape and came up with this.

I think architectural firm logos need to be simplistic and clean, although there a quite a few good ones here. But, after playing around with the design, here is my submission. Naturally, I tend to be more of the ultra-conservative school of design.

I beg to differ Olden, the scrollwork is anything but ultra-conservative, nice approach giving the logo those design elements.

Agree and i think yours is awesome!
(exept for the gradient colors, solid would be better and more conservative)
Very nice font to!, adds to the archetectial "theme"

I certainly agree with you about the solid color as opposed to the gradient MD, and thanks for your comment. In fact, how do you think the design blind embossed on a letterhead would appear? My thinking is that "less is more". And, Doc, I do tend to be more "old school" in my approach to design, although I did get carried away with the gradient. That Logo Creator software makes you crazy.
