    First of all I wanna say I have found the software to this point very user friendly. I am trying to help a family member out with a DJ / Sound company they are starting.

    I am trying very hard to create a logo that encompasses all fo what they are looking for that being Music and Sound and Professionalism. Also a DJ feel to it.

    I have a few I will try and post but wanted to see if I could get some ideas and help for all of you very talented designers out there that might have a little time to play.

    You will notice from the logos I have tried to create that I haven't yet figured out how to pull ideas from all logo templates and make a new one.

    :image24::image24::image24::image24::image24:
    Desperately hoping for some good ideas and examples and all your thoughts and criticism, as this is truly my first post and design try.

    Wow... nice logos! And you say this is your first try? Suggestion: what I do is save an element from a Logo Creator logo as a *.png file in My Pictures folder after I discard everything I don't want to save. Or I paste something I like from my clipart files into MS Publisher and save it as a *.png file, then import that into Logo Creator. Pretty soon, with all the various elements you've saved and imported into Logo Creator, you have everything you need to create a masterpiece! But, from what you've done, I don't think you need any help. Those are really GOOD! :image28:

    Great logos.... The only thing i see is no specific mention of what they do... other than sound... is it home audio, concerts, stage productions.... That might help you come up with different elements for it.

    Thats a great input question there... They do mainly DJ but are also trying to target companies who do not nessesarily want a DJ Company but need PA systems or A stage Sound setup. Maybe a better tag line??? :image10-1:

    Have to agree with the other posters. You have a great talent for logos if this is your first go at it.

    The tagline maybe could be "Hear The Difference" ? Speaks to me more about what the company is about.

    Xepher, welcome. You're off to a great start. Just some suggestions, but if you go with your no. 2 logo, try curving the 3 lines more (like a sound wave) and make the company name blue match the blue in the square. I'd also match the word technologies the same color as Sound Production since that's their official name, but using a different font should work. I'm not completely sold on the square, but I think you're starting out fine for your first time. Take the 'training wheels' off and 'look out' - you are sailing. Anyway... my only other advice would be to not overlap the name (Sound) over the square - always remember that your clients have to reproduce the logo (and it's color) in different formats/media like business cards, perhaps letterhead, car or trailer vinyl letter, and the list goes on. Sometimes less color is more... Keep up the good work, sorry so winded tonight. -later

    Well, I guess you've discovered that there are as many opinions about your logos as there are folks on this forum. My personal preference is #3. Why? It's clean and simple. Remember the old KISS theory? You've hit the old nail on the head with this one. :image10-1:

    OK Great input from everyone. I know that everyone has his or her own opinions but that is what I was looking for.

    First of all I have tried a few more ideas and I must say I am beginning to like TLC the more I play with it. But give me some thoughts on my revisions.

    And as allways thanks ever so much for all your input. :image28:

    2 and 3 have a nice look to them. I can almost picture the scribble as being a soundwave. You might have to tweak that a bit, but overall very nice direction.

    2 & 3 of the 2nd post you did look really good, but
    for that type of business ( music ) I think you want somthing
    co0L looking ... I would use the very 1st one
