    Here's a few that I did for a christmas gift..

    this one is to be put on a t-shirt (at Cafepress, of course)
    www.cafepress.com/hockeygear

    I hope to make a whole shop full of hockey stuff (Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad, etc) to use as a fund-raiser for my son's travel hockey team (darn that is an expensive sport!!)

    Great logo and great idea!!

    My parents lived in an arena watching my brother and I play hockey.

    My brother has a son now who is playing travel hockey and I don't think they have a free weekend until March next year due to hockey games and tournements.

    Your logo is perfect for those hockey Moms and Dads ....

    To your success!

    Seeing your logo inspired me to create one for my brother.
    Hope you don't mind me posting it here.

    Toons On Ice, it's called.

    What a great idea!
    I'm impressed you guys. Very cool.

    Have either of you actually seen the coffee mugs that come from CafePress? I'm wondering about the quality. I think I'd like to have a mug shop online using CafePress.

    yep.. I have one of the large coffee mugs that I got about a year and half ago and it looks really nice still. I dont know if they've changed their technology for putting the graphics on the cups since then, but mine has been thru many washings in the dishwasher and still looks good. I have to admit that I do not use it every day, but it has worn well.

    What is the technology?

    Just what is the technology for mug and plate text/graphics.
    and where is the best source?

    technology.. you mean for putting it on the mug I assume?

    best (or easiest) source...
    create your graphic in TLC;
    export as PNG;
    upload PNG files to your Cafepress store www.cafepress.com

    CafePress even has templates and design guidelines for them.

    hopefully that answers your question... sorry in advance if I misunderstood the question... :)

    here's what I used for the back of the tee shirt.. it's for a Goalie Dad. (hence the sticks are goalie sticks...)

    Have you tried different colors for the letters on the last one? I wonder if yellow might stand out more? I find the green fill a bit hard to see and washes in with the blue.

    Still .... good stuff!

    yeah.. I tried all different colors.. yellow looked good, but I forget why I didnt use it. It was late last nite when I did the thing and I needed to get it done so that I could beat the shipping deadline at cafepress and save a few bucks. (what a cheapskate, eh?)

    I'm hoping the tee looks okay, because I went ahead and ordered it as is. Of course, I totally agree with you, and now that Im a tad more awake and a lot more caffeine in me, I would like to make changes to the all of them... you know.. it could just be a forever ongoing process.. adjusting, changing, etc... sometimes the ease of TLC makes it so that you spend hours trying out every conceivable option! hee hee... but it's fun!

    Thanks for the input.. I really liked the way you put that yellow circle in the backgound of yours.

    The yellow circle (oval) is from one of the TLC sets ... can't remember which one .... I think I rotated it a few degrees to one side though and may have increase the size if it also.

    The shadow under the guy's feet is also from TLC ... and again not sure which set it is from.

    All the best,
    Eddy
