    G'day

    I recently bought the FAC and have no problems creating an ad and inserting it into a html page.

    I am currently building a site on the WPRemix2 template. I am needing to insert my created ad into the .php code so the ad shows up in the correct sidebar position.

    I am able to make it all work and when I preview my page/ad with Word Press it works perfectly. The problem is that when I publish the page that the ad disappears. It has vanished and the dreaded white box is there! Check out these test pages that I published, BTW they worked perfectly when I previewed them:

    http://www.helidirectory.com/directory/act/side-bar-test

    http://www.helidirectory.com/directory/act/sb2

    My understanding is that the ads I create must be uploaded to the root directory, not a sub folder. If this is the case, that is exactly what I have done and I have also pointed the code in the .php file at the location where the .swf file is located. See below:

    <a href="#"><img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>myfile.swf" <object classid="clsid"27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://download.macromedia.com
    /pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0"
    width="240" height="300" id="movie" align="">
    <param name="movie" value="myfile.swf">
    <embed src="myfile.swf" quality="high" width="240"
    height="300" name="movie" align="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    plug inspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
    </object>

    Is the problem that the above pages are part of a parent page and the ad is therefore located in the wrong place i.e the main root directory???

    I tried uploading the .swf file to the same locations as the .php files but it made no difference, I also corrected the .php code to point at the new locations but without success.

    I've been at it now for 4 hours and haven't had any luck, so any suggestions you have a re certainly worth a shot!

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    PS I have uploaded the fonts and scripts files as well and read the thread http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5295 about blank swf files

    Hi again

    I have corrected my problem:

    The code in my .php file was incorrect. It should have read:

    <embed src="<?php echo get_bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/myfile.swf"" alt="" width="240" height="300" class="ads" </embed>

    The <embed> tag is what I was missing, and was what was causing my ad not to be displayed on my blog!

    The FAC is working perfectly, I have uploaded it correctly, I just needed to point the code to the correct place which I have done now.

    Hopefully this thread will assist someone else.

    Cheers
