    I just love this program!

Here is my first attempt at a logo. Actually, I'm trying to create a banner for a private portal for our book club. We are a group of middle aged book lovers that get together for what is supposed to be a 2 hour book discussion. (It actually turns into a 6 hour female funfest!) I'm trying to convey what we are about.

The name of the bookclub is The Jazzroom because we first met in a purple room that feels jazzy! I thought about using a deep purple background, but since we are all of an age, I'd like to keep the space easy to read.

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance

Great job. Where did the books come from?

    Excellent job!

I wonder what it would look like without the shadow effect?

    Thanks to all of you!

    premedboy:

The books came from Microsoft's Clipart website. They have quite a nice selection to from which to choose.

    Eddy:
I appreciate your suggestion for improvement. Which shadow effect do you speak of--the shadow on the letters or the books?

See what the letters look like without the shadow effect, and perhaps the shadow below the books could be removed as it looks like a black smudge mark above the letters oom.
