TLC is able to preview fonts in their own shape which is good: Better would be to display the font name in regular text (because it's always hard to decypher a dingbats font name) PLUS the chosen text (the one from the logo one just typed in) itself as the font: in this case one can directly see the result without having to come back again to choose another font and repeat these steps indefinitely. The second screen capture was taken from freeware font viewer akFontViewer. It allows also to Ctrl-click a few fonts and then restrict the list displayed to these fonts; which is easier when you have hundreds if not thousands of fonts. One can choose the font size, attributes (B I U), etc. Only problem is you can paste text only once; it doesn't respond to further pasting. You always have to quit and relaunch. The app is very old (July 2000) and the author seems "absent" and doesn't respond to requests anymore. To have this functionality integrated into TLC would be optimal. In the meantime I'll have to switch back paste close relaunch switch forth switch back paste close relaunch etc. etc.
