just a try at a logo.
very nice! not bad for a first logo
That would look great with a couple of eyes and some big big eyebrows on the sphere
thanks will give that a try!!
yeah if you wanted to make a big angry looking smiley,..with headphones on!!
There's no use in changing anything to this design other then producing the graphics used to built it, with the help of "outside" software. It's not going to get better.
I think golfers call this; a hole in one...
(but don't hold me to anything ok)
Welcome to the forum.
Nice first. Seems a bit busy but not bad.
Suggestion: Try coloring the word celebrate the same color as your sphere and the word radio the same blue as the headphones I believe they would stand out a little more.
Logo creation is a science of sorts. Sometimes experimenting with the variables can produce unexpected results.
I'd love to put this onto my Web Gallery page.
Would you mind?
I'd be happy to link back to you and your site if you wish. (As I'll be doing for any other logo I post on that page).
that would be great. thanks for the opportunity to be on your webgallery page.
Nice layout and use of color and images.
However, if I may be the font police for a bit...
It's wise and easy on the eyes to keep the font type no more than 3, best kept at two. Looks like you have about 5 different fonts?
Rules are meant to be broken with art and design, but with font use it's tricky. There are many helpful books or articles on font use out there. Fonts are important to a logo.
I know they all look cool but a client needs to read it right away and not be distracted. Gravy pointed out that it may be a tad busy. I think if you kept it to two fonts it would look less crowded. Easier to read with the same font.
quick tips that might help... "Celebrate Radio" is fine. Nice and bold and 'Radio' pops. Keep the rest of the fonts all Arial (a basic safe font if you don't have a wide variety of fonts).
I would make:
-"exciting radio..." Arial regular.
-"positively music and more" Arial Black or Arial bold
-"LISTEN" Arial Black or Arial bold and italic is our choice.
This will clean it up a bit and make it easy on the eyes.
Other than that, seriously a nice clean layout and colors.
Play around with it and good luck!!
thank you borpean for the font suggestions. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Well... exept for what Borpean suggested!
I was only offering a suggestion.
Misguided as I was oh Master I will leave the finer points of design to your good self to get on with although personally I would hint at what fonts need a licence before print.
And Aerial does not work imho of course
Your suggestion was noted by hpgfree. It never hurts to suggest options.
As for license of a font, your right. Depending what type of font they want to use and where to use it they need to purchase it. If it's a non-standard royalty free font of course.
Arial may not work. But I do not know what type of fonts this user has. I have a large font base and could have named more. I only suggested Arial as it is simple and common and royalty free.
Separate names with a comma.
