    Hello Forum members,

I've got a buddy who is specializes in international shipping. He's looking for a logo for his company called Navigo Logistics. It needs to be crisp, professional and he's toyed with the idea of having a boat sitting on top of a world. But he wasn't able to make it look professional, it came off more cartoony.

Navigo will specialize in shipping high-end items for art museums, jewelers, antique car dealers, etc... so he's really after that high-end look.

I'm going to be creating his site, so there is some reimbursement available for an approved logo. It may not be a lot, as its a friend, but it'd be something...

I'll look forward to any ideas or mock-ups...

    Thanks for your help,
    Ryan.

Here's my thought. My idea came from a large shipping vessel. Colors and design can be modified in any way.

Ok,,, the verdict is in... he likes "MDSIGN's and TopCatz and Lamo's ( the shield lamo)...

He'd like to see some revisions...

TOPCATZ: Different color than the "brown" world ( he knows its because of packaging, but it just doesn't sit right for him

MDSIGN: Crisper image, different colors on the font

LAMO: Different colors... It currently matches the franchise he's going to be eventually getting rid of, it would compete ( needs to scream "Royalty or Prestige")

Awalk: He liked it, but felt it might be too "playful" for his clientele... font may be the factor on that...

    Look forward to revisions...

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Lamo's design

    I couldn't find Lamo's post, what's up?

"Different colors... It currently matches the franchise he's going to be eventually getting rid of, it would compete ( needs to scream "Royalty or Prestige")" (quote of Lamo's design)

    Revision Brown-GOLD

I wanted to show the value of the "service" in GOLD..
I highlighted the globe and lightened the globe I'll change the color but if we can make the gold right I believe that's the right color

The two logos from MasterDesign and Topcatz are probably the best so far. KD-Did's would have been o.k. if she didn't mispell "Logistics." (Just kidding, KD, Yours is fine, too) Backing up for a second, I very much like MasterDesigns logo as it has a more nautical appearance and presents an easily understood image of the shipping business. Topcatz's color choices (the earth-tones, for example) need to have more punch, but if he's trying for "gold" then that one would be as good as MD's. Maybe hot-stamping the gold or a silver foil in the final analysis would give it the zap he's looking for. KD's has the solidity and simplicity I always like. Very good beginning.

I believe that more "treasures" will be shipped via air (in this day and age)

Not sure what you mean by "Crisper" mate..and suggestions for font color?
Meanwhile i thought i'd have some fun with an other idea wich at this point could go on the website "as it is!"

I wanted to see it with a white compass (if we're close I'll put in a white one instead of just filling the black)

Now, I like that logo a lot. The contrast between the blue and the gold is way better. However, I do wish you would kern those letters tighter as there is too much space between the "N-A-VI..." . Use the character spacing tool in Logo Creator to tighten up that spacing and let's see how it looks. Although I think you won't be able to actually kern the letters.

I took KD's arrows and Topcats globe (props to you 2!) a bit further and ended up with this.
