How do I make the background of my logo transparent? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Be aware that some browsers and viewers will show a background color by default that isn't really there.
I see where it says remove white backing under modify but that and several other choices are not available to me. Any thoughts?
Does your desing have white in it and on a white background?
Watch for a PM from me.
here is the image. no white in image but yes a white background
maybe thats not white
actually the background looks more cream then white, maybe thats the problem?
When exporting you must choose either Gif transparent or Png transparent. When you choose Gif transparent you will see a square with a color in it....move the eyedropper to the background and it will remove that color. White can be a problem if there is white in the design and that is when you would use a slightly different color as a background.
I think the problem may be the file type you are saving as, if you try to export as JPEG then this format does not support transparancy, to have transparency you must save as a GIF or PNG as KD suggested in the post above.
Thanks, it worked nicely.
I have set up a temp website for the future site of the mortgage company.
Glad it all worked out.
Do you live in Oregon too?
Yes I live in Clackamas, Oregon. Will be opening a business soon in Scappoose, as you probably noticed from the website. Where are you located?
I live in Lincoln City....
