Just fooling around with the images from Clik Art.
What do you think?
The joys of WMF images..
Have you tried your hand at changing the click art images with the Advance Draw feature. It is great..an image may not be what you want..or wrong color all changeable with the Click art.And the best part is TLC can use them..and white bachground isn't a problem..non remains.
When downloading images from clipart sites WMF's are a good choice.
Hi Katie, what does WMF mean? and yes so far the click art images are working great. I have tried working with the advanced editor and I like it.Are there other store bought clip art that works with TLC? How about Hemara?
Microsoft Windows Metafile = MWF
Hemara as far as I know is a vector based graphic and you cannot directly place it into TLC, however you can modify it in another program and then import as new image. Like you can with almost any image so long as the import format is ok,ie jpeg, png, bmp, gif, etc Tlc will say if it can import the image.
Do you know what format Hemara images are ?
so you will have to be carefull if your offering those images in a Logo here.
BlackKnight, Shelly has already given you the WMF meaning..:).Hemera offers many different formats for downloading including WMF.See attachment.
Broderbund software (Click Art's parent) has many other products and are widely available at Costco and other stores. You might want to try their Print Shop or Print Master. Both of which work beautifully with TLC and will not only be Clip Art but gives you versitility for printing business cards, letterhead, you can resize and place the logo anywhere without the image falling apart. You will be able to choose business card layouts and find the right template for the paperstock you have or buy. And you will have an entire word of Word Art that you can export and use with TLC.
Art Explosion by Nova is great because you can import images directly off the CD's.
