Unzip the font folder. Fonts get added into your system font file, not into TLC font folder .Drag and drop the fonts into the Fonts folder in the Library folder. You must have the font family on board. Often when you download fonts all the variations ,the family of the font (It.Bold,Etc) are in the zipped file.

Mac OS X supports PostScript Type 1, OpenType, and TrueType
Mac OS 9.x and 8.x support PostScript Type 1 and TrueType font formats.

Thanks KD-did, sorry for not getting back sooner, yes I did that
but when I went back into Logo Creator and tried to use them
it appeared that I couldn't as a window says that the fonts
could not be used as they were not Outline fonts even though
    they are shown there.
The fonts that I downloaded were True Type fonts does a Out
line font need to be a Open font ?

TTF fonts are usually not a problem with PCs but with Macs they suggest staying with either open or ttfs but not a mix.

Seems sorta similar the issue I'm having - the fonts are not recognized as in I can't select them, but they are on the font listing as selectable. Some won't select, the menu/window stays open, others will select but the font never changes. Others just work.

this is Leopard (10.5.0) on Intel.
