    What program/software are you using for your website? There may be a chance that someone else is using the same one and will be able to tell you.

    Have you checked out this link?

    Hi Ryan, a lot of html editors will add the code for you automatically if you select from their tool/options something like 'insert flash object' if not then the generic code below should get you started - though you may need to adjust some of the sizes and of course the flash file name

    note - in the first line of the code below remove the space between the clsid: and the D27CDB6E I had to add it to stop that bit appearing as this :D smiliey

    <OBJECT classid="clsid: D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0,0" ID=Untitled WIDTH=400 HEIGHT=400>
    <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="My_Ad.swf">
    <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
    <PARAM NAME=loop VALUE=False>
    <EMBED src="My_Ad.swf" loop=false quality=high
    WIDTH=400 HEIGHT=400 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash">
    </EMBED>
    </OBJECT>

    Ryan,

    Which editor are you using? I'll tell you the fastest way to learn html and editing, is to right click on a webpage, chooose view source. Then copy the text and paste it in you html editor, like dreamweaver, or frontpage.

    From there click on the design portion of your page (in the editor), and it will highlight the code. Then just manipulate the code a bit until you figure out what it does.

    Also, doc is right on choosing insert flash object from editor. We really need to know what your using to help better.

    Thanks,

    Another Ryan

    oh, well then if your just trying to insert you flash video, then i would find the insert "media" option on that program. Or google, how to add flash to your website. Doc also provided the code, but the google answer should tell you where to put it.

    it might be adding the code, switch to html view, and see if you can see doc's code anywhere. This will tell you where it's pointing. Also, my guess is you haven't uploaded the remaining files to your server.

    ok, so i'm sitting here editing your website, which is not a good thing.... Your link was direct to your admin account.

    You may review site security options with this company. Also, spend some time organizing your site files, if that service allows it. I deleted the direct link you posted and am no longer in the site. Let me know if you need direct help.

    By the way, which version lof flash ad creator are you running?

    im running the 2.5 version

    im honestly kind of dissapointed with the software. i just spent $50 on it and cant use it.

    there should be atleast "copy html" code or something like myspace/youtube has.

    just a suggestion

    you shouldn't need it...did you upload the other 2 files as listed on the fac 2.5 help section?

    I can help you with it this evening. If you can set me up an ftp account. I'll just take your flash file, post it in a webpage and upload it from there... that should work easy as pie.

    You also have to pay attention to where you upload the file to on your website and make sure that the html code is referencing the correct location of the file.

    Ok, I just signed up on Freewebs to test this. It looks to very simple to do. I don't have an ad here at work or I'd test it.

    Armrassler, walk me thru how you're trying to insert it into your page? Did you try using the video option -- just upload the .swf file in the pop-up box?
