How to use graphics for HD Video

    What is the best dimension to use to export a JPG or PNG into a video editing program for use in videos? It seems the image needs to be stretched to fit a widescreen image. Anyone know the dimensions needed?

    This is what I got from https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/usermanual/chapter_C_section_6.html

    1920 pixels
    HD video with 1080 lines uses 1920 pixels per line (1920 x 1080). HD video with 720 lines uses 1280 pixels per line (1280 x 720). Both of these formats have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Common video frame sizes are shown in the table below. (check out the link to see the table)

    so you would need to make graphics that are either of those 2 sizes as a background for your HD Video. You can create the 1280 x 720 sized graphic in TLC. You would need the youtube channel art creator to create the 1920 x 1080 sized graphic.
