1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

    Hello all,

Just bought the software and after trying a $97 software, I like this much better.

Anyways I want to put the 3D Spinning ebook (the one with the Front and Back views) into my auction. I uploaded all three files (swf, graphics folder, html) and I used this html in my auction:

    http://www.monk7100.biz/ebooks/Spinning EBook/Spinning_Book.swf
    (Where the example is)

When I put this html into my auction it shows the spinning ebook but the generic one (laughing bird ecover, the yellow one) and does not have my ecovers on the front or back.

    please help me

    Thank you so much,
    Derek Gisriel

    Monk,

Sounds like you have the wrong graphics folder. Try pointing to the other one.

Hmm how is it pointing to the wrong graphics folder if it is showing up on the website but not on an auction?

    Thank you,
    Derek

Didn't see you mention anything about it working on a website. I'll try it out on my ebay site and see what happens.

As far as I am aware the ads from flash ad software will not work on ebay at this time.

The ads you make with flash ad cannot be put on ebay at this time. To put them on ebay requires a stand alone flash file. Flash Ad does not do this yet. When Marc releases the new version of Flash Ad you will be able to do this. There is no release date as of this time. Hang in there and Marc will get the new version out as soon as he can.

    Hey Mac,

I think a decompiler would work for that situation, don't u?

No I don't but they can try it. Flash Ad won't work on ebay. Not until the new version comes out. The way it calls the assets folder is what keeps it from working.

    Derek,

Send me an instant message @ krause54@hotmail.com. I'll try to decompile it and send it back to you as 1 file.

You know I am so out of it. I have had my mind on Flash Ad all night. You are talking about an ebook. WOW someone slap me. LOL

As far as it goes for getting the ebook on ebay. It is still the same. I have seen no way to get it to work yet. You are still going to need a stand alone .swf file.

If the decompile works be sure to post back about it. I am still thinking it won't, but prove me wrong.

    Decompiling works!

Good news... Decompiling works...But you need the following software...

    1) Decompiler (Sothink Decompiler is my recommendation)
    2) Flash 8 or MX

If anyone needs assistance post here or Instant Message me and I'll be happy to help.

Sorry Chris, wasn't trying to prove you wrong, your still :number:
