1. New Software Notice alert!

    The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

    For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

    So hang in there! It's almost done!

    I can't seem to imbed a flash button made with Web graphics Creator into a web page.

    The program exports the .swf file, but isn't there supposed to be code exported as well to insert into the page?

    It looks so simple, yet I am baffled.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

    You would have to use the object code. This is what I use:

    Code:
    <OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="[COLOR=red]button width here[/COLOR]" height="[COLOR=red]button height here[/COLOR]">
    <PARAM name="movie" value="[COLOR=red]button name[/COLOR].swf">
    <PARAM name="quality" value="High">
    <PARAM name="scale" value="ExactFit">
    <PARAM name="wmode" value="Window">
    <PARAM name="play" value="true">
    <PARAM name="loop" value="false">
    <PARAM name="menu" value="false">
    <PARAM name="sAlign" value="L">
    <EMBED src="[COLOR=red]button name[/COLOR].swf" width="[COLOR=red]button width here[/COLOR]" height="[COLOR=red]button height here[/COLOR]" quality="High" wmode="Window" loop="false" play="true" menu="false" scale="ExactFit" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspace="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
    </EMBED>
    </OBJECT>
    Just copy & paste the above code into your webpage where you want the button. Then change the red text to your own info and that should do it. Let me know how it goes.

    I used the above code on this page to show a sample:

    Good example Chris.

    artharpster... what program are you using? Dreamweaver ... Front Page?
    Usually, there's a 'Flash' button that will simply have you look for the .swf file on your hard drive, and import it just as you would any graphic.

    Depends on the HTML software you're using.
