Been using software for about 2 years. What I really want to know, though, is how do I change the color of the Neon text from the default green to any other color, like a great red, for instance. Anybody?

Thanking you all in advance..... I am.

    Hi James.
    Welcome to the forum.

To change the Neon color, unGroup the text first.

When you use a special effect, the text that appears is actually 2 or three layers combined.

To ungroup them, click on the text - then choose Ungroup from the Modify menu.

Next, click anywhere away from the text, on a blank part of the canvas for example (this will de-select your text).

You can now move (and colorize) each individual layer to your liking.

Once you like what you see - GROUP them back together. You can click and drag a marquee over all layers, or shift click each layer.

Grouping allows you to change the layers all at the same time.

let me know if this helps!

You could also use the "Hot Text Glow "text effect.Just color add a lighter color outline .

Thanks, Marc. I did not see that until now. I tried calling earlier but your mailbox is full. I am going off to experiment with neon now.... Thanks again.
