1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

The book works perfect on my pc, but it doesn't work at all on the server, all files have been uploaded-assets-swf-created an html page. I have read other posts pertaining to this, just don't understand why the directions tell you one thing and everyone telling you something different to do, just does not make any sense.

    Hi Greg.
Thanks for pointing to the URL. It helps.

Make sure you also have the "Assets" folder in the same "Lies-Deceit/" folder.

    Like this:
    ttp://www.angelfire.com/music2/GREGBOWDEN/Lies-Deceit/Assets

The Assets folder contains your new book images. Without this folder sitting next to the .swf file, your spinning book doesn't know where the images are.

Try this, then re-launch the page and let me know if it works.

Hi Greg I have just run a quick test and it worked fine for me

    1) created the spinning book
    2) copied the supplied code into my html file
    3) uploaded the html, the swf and the folder/directory containing the assets to the server

    result at http://www.graphics-junction.co.uk/kars.html
(ignore the rubbish pics they were first ones to hand)

    Hi Doc,

Not having any luck, all files are together. Maybe I just can't make an html page on angelfire, I guess you would need a flash editor like coffee cup?

Greg you say the files are all together - you do realise that the asset files should not be with the html and swf but in a directory created by WGC. It is the directory that is in the same place as the html & swf not the asset files.

Doc here is what I did. Created the sub directory-Lies-Deceit, opened it up and uploaded the Lies1_Assets and the Lies1.swf, then I created an html page and named it Lies1.html.

Ok I figured it out, I made a typo of the Lies1_Assets, I changed it to the Lies1_assets, it was the capital "A" in assets, thats why it didn't work. Looks good now.

It looks good. I can see you are still working on the html as you have added text under the animation.
