Move the image directly to your desktop first. Or if you have a thumb drive
available you could try importing from there. I've had issues trying to import a file from within a file....

Hello, Thanks for the email! I have moved the pic to my desktop and I still just seem to import nothing and get the icon. Whats a thumb drive?? like a memory stick?

Yes..... What exact OS are you? Sounds like you maybe seeing the icon for a broken file. View it or send it to yourself.

Have you done a "Repair permissions"?

Interestingly when I choose a template to start working with, If it has a picture of a character or something within it, it doesn't show up either? other graphics are fine.

Click on the Apple ..it will tell you exactly what your OS is. Mine is too old for V6.6 but the example will be the same but with your correct info. Repairing permissions is good because it puts your files in order.

Yes, you a Snow Leopard. Repairing permissions is a disk utility on your computer. Cick on the hard drive icon in your dock.

Make sure your Adobe Air and Snow Leopard are up to date.

Hello, just did a system update (will that automatically update snow leopard?), and updates adobe air. it will take 1 hour plus to do a repair permission, so will give it a try!

    thanks again for your help!

It probably wont really take that long. I prefer to update the apps rather than system update.

I wonder if you sent me the graphic and I put it on a canvas and sent back to you a .tlc file if that would make a difference.

Have you made a file in the logo elements folder for your images? It would then show in the drop down menu...possibly be made available for your use.
