    Greetings to everyone from us web footers in the evergreen state (WA State, USA). Quick question and a beg pardon if this has already been answered.

    Anyone aware of outboard software that would take a flash file created in Flash Ad Creator Vs. 2.5 (animated or static) and slightly resize it to a different size while maintaining the same quality and integrity of the native file?

    Example would be taking an industry standard 480X60 banner and resizing to 500X50.

    When you save your ad and view it in your browser, it creates an html file.

    If you view that html file with a text editor or html editor, you'll see something like:

    Code:
        <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
       codebase="http://download.macromedia.com
       /pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0"
       width="468" height="60" id="movie" align="">
          <param name="movie" value="myfile.swf">
           <embed src="myfile.swf" quality="high" width="468"
          height="60" name="movie" align="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
          plug inspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
            </object>

    In this case, the size of the ad is 468X60. If you change the instances of 468 with 500 and 60 with 50, the ad will then display at 500X50.

    Since these are small tweaks, you probably won't notice any quality degradation or any aspect change as the ratio isn't the same.
