    :SayingHi:Hello Everyone!

I am new here. I would like to design my own company logo. If I use Laughingbird, can I still trademark the logo?

I hope you all have a great day and a prosperuous year!

Welcome Chi-Town member, glad to have you on board.

Yes, you can trademark your logo, providing you don't import any art work that may be someone else's.

    Directly from LB's FAQ section:

Yes, you can copyright your logo.
Even if a user uses the same template - which is highly likely! - the name will be different ... and thus, the logo is different as far as the copyright office is concerned.

If a user happens to have the same name, the same byline, then you're going to have a hassle anyway whether they've used the same template or not! :)
Chances are, you're going to be the only one with your company name. Unless you create a name like "CyberHosting" or something generic like that.
