Hi there everyone, I am new to the forum and to the Web Graphics programme. I have been working on some ebook covers and am really getting into it.

Probably a silly question though, but how do I know what size the 3D ebook covers are so that I can make my template right please?

    Would appreciate any help!

    Thanks

    Importing images without backgrounds

    Hi there

I was wondering if you could help me please?

Do I need a special programme e.g. Photoshop to import images without backgrounds, so that I could put several on my cover?

    Hope this makes sense!

    Thanks

    Shelly

All you would need is a simple photo/image editor in most cases for removing backgrounds. While Photoshop and Illustrator are wonderful programs to have on board there are many free programs around . Here is a link to one such program for PC's

Here is a newer free product you might like to download that is very powerful and easy to use.

    Rotating ecover

    Hey there

Sorry just me again, I'm not sure how to post a new message on the forum hence the reason I keep coming back to you! Can you help me with this please?

Also I just wanted to know if you know if it is possible to email the rotating cover so that someone else can view what I have done please? Or do you have to install some programmes to view it?

    Thanks!

    Shelly

To start a new thread simply click on the appropriate forum header and you will see where to start a new thread. (see attachments).

Technically yes the file can be emailed by attaching the file but the email receiver must have an appropriate viewer for swf files or it needs to be converted to a more common format like gif or avi and have something like Irfanview (FREE) on board.
