Anybody know how to get FLIPBOOK to work on a MAC ?

All I can do is load pictures and then I have no control over anything, it doesn't even show all the pictures I entered.

Or is this just another piece of software that doesn't work on a Mac ?

The program was written on a Mac. Did you "repair permissions"?

    repair permissions?

I don't know what that means...

Once I load my photos I have no control over anything.

    So far its useless.

After you installed the program did you repair permissions? It is a disk utility.

    What?

What does that mean, "repair permissions"?

Used after you update your operating system or install new software.

To improve your system's performance, follow these steps to use the permissions repair function in OS X's Disk Utility program:

    1. To open Disk Utility, from your Applications folder, open your Utilities folder, then double-click the Disk Utility icon.

    2. In the column on the left, click your startup disk's icon.

    3. Click the First Aid tab, and then click Repair Disk Permissions. Disk Utility will reset any files and folders with incorrect settings.

OR if you have a harddrive with a stethoscope (spA) icon in your "dock" click on it.

    repair permissions

    Repaired disks, thanks.

Still, I just added 10 photos to flipbook, and only 4 showed up in preview and publish, in no specific order, with blank spaces inbetween.

I need to be able to pick the order and get them all in there...:image25:

    Look

This is what I get when I 10 or more pix....

    file:///Volumes/Hard%20drive/Users/markmckelvey/Desktop/untitled%20folder%202/book_images/book_images/template.htm

    Excuse the butts...

Why won't it use all the pix I add.., and why can't I pick the order?

Try numbering your images, 1-10. That worked for me a long time ago... If I remember correctly spaces in between the filename caused me a lot of grief...

Let me know, I'm still here...

Homesight you are spot on about the problem spaces cause in filenames, MS operating systems cope ok with them but on a Linux/Unix set up they get converted to %20 causing loads of grief.
