I don't see TLC 6.0 in my add and remove programs, how do you delete the program in windows 7?
WOW! I think you may have stumbled across something I haven't even thought about: There is not an uninstall option! I have a pretty good program "Ccleaner" I use and it doesn't show up there, or in Windows control panel. Ver 5.2 does, but not the 6.0 ver.
The TLC 6 files can be found the "DOCUMENTS or MY DOCUMENT" folder. V6 doesn't overwrite V5... which allows you to launch V5 or V6 without a conflict.
That doesn't explain how I can delete the TLC 6 off of my computer.
You have to do a manual uninstall if you need to. Just delete the directory created when you installed 6.0.
Because there is not an "uninstall" option you have to delete the directories created when you installed TLC ver 6.0. 6.0 is a pretty clean install-- I have only found a few references to the software (version 5.2 only, NOT ver 6.0)_ in the system registry. So, unlike many other programs you don't have to look all over the registry and delete small components....
Thanks, that seemed to work.
when working with the beta release I probably installed it 15 times- each time in a different directory, after I mucked up stuff like file locations and trying adding components from earlier version into 6.0. I don't know why it doesn't show up in the system registry, I thought most software had to. I deleted each install (I called it logo test1, logo test2, etc...) manually. Of course the beta release was only about 70MB, the win7 final release is about 238M, and has literally hundreds of folders. I tend to install stuff anyway in directories I know I can find: c:\thelogocreator6.0 for example. Much easier to find (AND delete) than c:\bob\program files\desktop\documents\program documents\files about documents\ ... if you get my drift.
