I am trying to do a logo for a friend of mine's wife whose is starting up an at-home cookie selling business. The problem is, she is 100% sure she wants a picture of a boy with his mouth "stuffed with cookies". I made an attempt but am artistically challenged in a big way! I have included my face attempt and what the logo elements are. Hopefully someone can help as I am in over my head I think.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Cool!

I like it! The picture of the guy is so much better than mine. They did like the idea of having a baseball cap though and maybe some type of cookie element. It's 100% better than mine but not quite what she wants.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Very nice

I really like this boy's face and the fact that it has a cookie in it. I guess the only problem though is the that the owner is looking more for a "stuffed mouth" which goes back to their slogan, "The Original Mouthfull". Otherwise, great job and can you suggest anything along the lines I mentioned?

    Thanks again,
    Mark

MarkC, you are in a tough place...your client wants something that may not be the best for her product...nowhere does her want get the idea across what she does...what her business does...Perhaps a design of a cookie face with a ball cap and full cheeks like a hamster could be substituted for a boy...It maybe a more appealing image

    what if?....

Do you happen to have a pic of the cookie or the boy for me to play with? As high res as possible would be so much appreciated as what I have to try and work with is quite a joke.

Also, I do see your point and I will mention it to my friend's wife. I think she may agree that her vision may not be the best way to advertise her new business. Thanks again!!!!

    Katie, I like! ha.

MarkC if you need some help or a creative push, I can help.

One thing however... the kid (Dumpcables first post) with cookie? I am not to fond of that cookie :{ :P

And WHBea, VERY nice layout! I always like your badges and such. Keep it up.

The cookie jar is cute but I really need to use a boy's face. Maybe a cookie jar next to the boy. The text has to include: "Sweet Kari Anne's presents The Original Mouthful" It was made clear to me that the exact lettering must be included. Still looking and thanks for the suggestions...

    Just my 2 cents;

Do we , in this time and age, want to use a "fat kid" ,however cartoony, as a mascotte for a coockie compagnie?

The cartoony, "fat kid" doesn't really need to be fat at all. The slogan reads, "The Original Mouthful". A skinny kid with his mouth stuffed would work great too or a cartoony kid with big chipmunk cheeks. The mascot needs to have a "Mouthful" not be an advocate for obesity :-)

    Thanks,
    Mark
