Hi there I have designed a logo with an oval shape. I want the background colour, on the outside of the shape, to be white and a different color on the inside of the shape,:image07-1: can I do this?

    Hi,
Try duplicating the image and make the duplicated image smaller. Color it and place it on top the white oval. If the colored oval disapears when you do that select "Bring to front" from the Modify menu to get the colored oval to stand on top the white oval.

    I hope this helps.

Another option is to use "Shapes" under embedded fonts for your oval images. Using font dingbats offers many more options....you can outline and control the outline width. You can use any of the built in text effects. Often you will get much better coloration when using font dingbats than you will using an element.
