1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

Change rounded corners on ebook covers?

I just downloaded WGC today, so I'm a bit overwhelmed yet.

I created a cover in Art Center but had difficulty seeing the whole thing in its window. When I enlarged the window by dragging on the corners, the cover filled it out. Is there any type of zoom-in-out so you can see the whole works?

Also, when I pasted my cover onto an ebook model, it rendered rounded corners on the ebook cover, like a binder. Any way to get sharp, squared corners, like on a book?

What about the spine? What do I do to create a spine that wraps around the spine on the model?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jack,

There are several different e-module types. Books, CD's, covers, etc... I would assume by selecting the ebook module, you could change the dimensions to the size of the ecover and presto, you should have your square corners.

Boy, I just don't follow you. Could you be more specific?

Where and how do I change the dimensions on the ebook module?

I've been looking for the manual on WGC. Is one available yet, because I'm not doing too well on trial and error, and obviously things don't seem to be working like the short tutorials on the WGC site.

I don't mean to be thick, but I'm struggling here.

After playing with WGC some more today, I find that one ecover book model has rounded corners and others have sharp. Duh.

But I'm still confused about how to make the spline wrap.

I found some dimensions on the forum for the various models. Do I need to create my 1-D cover to those exact dimensions, then apply it to the ecover model?
