Is it possible not to close The "font list" when a font selection done while formatting text?
I would like the close "the font list window" myself when i am satisfied/done after trying fonts probably very many.

As it is now It is tiring to :---

    click the fonts button
select a font -"font selection window"- closes itself,........ see the effect-not satisfied

    click the fonts button again
select a font -"font selection window"- closes itself,........ see the effect-not satisfied

    click the fonts button again
select a font -"font selection window"- closes itself,........ see the effect-not satisfied

click the fonts button again,........ GRRRRRR ! .... more GRRRR ! if i had to try more fonts :)

    What do you think ???.
    :thankyou:

This is common with a lot of graphic software. I don't like it either, but somethings we just have to live with..

    Thanks for the reply !

It would be fantastic and would also keep may last hair straws from being pulled off .
if some features of the simple program "AMP fontview" for example ,can be introduced
    into TLC.
TLC programmer(s) know it much better certainly

    OR from a pgm'ers pow:
    the basic idea is:
    - name the text objject (say textobj1) and set it's status to "active"
    - name the window that opens (say fontwin_1_obj ) set it's status to "active"
when one of the font buttons is clicked (say butfont1_obj)
    and
1- grey out the form buttons = to block user from opening a window again
    or
1- grey out only the button clicked, and
if the user clicks the other font button ,
test if any of the objects fontwin_1_obj and fontwin_2_obj is alive, if so kill or revive the objects

2- select font see the effect = business as usual

    3- on the exit routine(s) for the "winfont1_obj" "winfont2_obj"
    - 2 if the programmer chooses to open e seperate window for each font buttons,
namely "system2 and "ambedded", totaling 2 windows -
    when the user kills the object(s) , "winfont1_obj" and/or "winfont2_obj"
    activate respective font button(s) "butfont1" and/or"butfont2"

Sorry for my bad english, can not make it better (passed the critical age).
i hope you undersand what i mean and my message.

    Thank You again!
