1. New Software Notice alert!

    The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

    For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

    So hang in there! It's almost done!

    I just got Web Graphics Creator. I made some buttons for my web page, and they look pretty cool. But I'm getting complaints that it takes a long time to load up the page. Internet Explorer will show not responding but will then pull up the page. Here's a link to the page. Weathered - Rockin Party Tunes from the 80's to Today

    Here's the code for it:
    <body bgproperties="fixed" link="#FFFF00" vlink="#FF0000" text="#FFFFFF" bgcolor="#0000FF" background="blue029.jpg">

    <p align="center">
    <img border="0" src="red_weathered02.gif" width="525" height="124"></p>
    <p align="center">
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/photos.swf" > <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/music.swf"> <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/calendar.swf" > <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/songlist.swf" > <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/mailing.swf" > <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/theband.swf" > <embed width="128" height="50" wmode="transparent" src="http://www.weatheredmusic.net/myspace.swf" ><noembed>Flash required</noembed></p>
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Well the website loaded fine for me right away and quickly and both Mozilla Firefox and took a little longer on Internet Explorer. Of course IE always takes longer. Internet Explorer takes longer to load you're page because it is having a hard time reading you're source code for that page. Firefox on the other hand does not stand around scratching its head all day when it has troubles reading your code.. It just throws the best thing it can on the browser real quick.

    Below is a link that will show you all the errors you need to fix. After you fix them IE should not have such a hard time reading your page and taking so long. Your site right now does not even have a closing </body> tag in the document.
