1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

You should use your html editor to insert the button as a flash object. When you do that, you will be able to resize it to fit your needs but the default may be fine.

If you just upload the button and add a link to it, it's going to look huge.

I tell you what You guys are awesome!!! Chris!!! Excellent support on the forums here!!

ok. Chris. Ive been using some other software that alot of things already preprogrammed for me..But I am currently installing a copy of adobe dreamweaver CS3. I can use that right? To resize and install my buttons on my website?

Chris, let me ask you this too why I got you..I have created a spinning box with the wgc. I have uploaded the swf. file and the box graphic file. Now for the html code can I just copy and paste that in a notepad and use file name "index.html" and then use that dreamweaver to install that too?

    I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 so I don't think you'll have any problems.

Just choose insert/media/flash from the menu then navigate to your button. It will detect the size of what the button should be unlike your browser.

For the spinning box, use dreamweaver also, but, if you view the page generated in your browser to view the spinning ebook and scroll down, you'll see the code you need to view the ebook. Just copy it then paste it in the appropriate location in your dreamweaver webpage code and you should be good to go. Dreamweaver may add some javascript or ask you if you want to update the code for certain browsers so it displays correctly. You can choose yes to both if it comes up.

The file locations are relative to the page and aren't editable. So make sure when you upload, you maintain the directory structure and file locations.

Ok Chris...I copied and pasted the code into dreamweaver and just clicked save as to my documents. Then I went to filezilla and uploaded all 3 files to my public_html folder. But how do place the box in my website now? Not sure where or what to do next. Im new to hosting and html editing etc...

As a start, after you save your box, you have a chance to view it in your browser. When you view it and scroll down, you'll see some code in a box with instructions to use that ode to display your box.

Copy that code and go to Dreamweaver and create a new document. Past the code between the tags <body> and </body>

Save the file as ebook.html (or something .html) and upload it to where you have those files you uploaded. Then you can point your browser to it and it should display your box.

From there you can play with Dreamweaver and build a page, save it, preview it in your browser to see how it looks.

Chris maybe this will help...if youll go to my website http://www.dvd2.com I want to put this bos sorda up in the top right below my slogan. However I build this website using AOM software where they have alot of preprogammed things, to where lets say I wanted to add a logo, I build my logo, upload it and go into my AOM control panel and just type the url to my logo and it will automatically install it on my website. So i didnt really build this website with HTML.

Try using the template option in dreamweaver. I would add a table if you're just beginning to learn. Then use the insert flash option inside of dreamweaver to insert it.

I use CS3 as well, and its easy as pie, once the "light" goes off :)
