    Hey folks,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out.... I have an image that I plan to convert into a logo and would like to have on either a black, white, or transparent background however I'm rather new to Corel Draw and every time I attempt to perform the task myself the image looks rather messy. I was wondering if anyone would care to help out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want the entire belt or just the center portion?

Thanks Katie. Again you've been a terrific help. Since you mentioned it, the logo idea that I have may work better with just the center medallion.

that's amazing they look exactly the same, i used the "extract object tool" in photoimpact (and did some color corrections and rotated the pic to get it straight) what did you use?

The medallion will look excellent for what I have in mind. I'm also working on putting together a wrestling ring in the shape of a hexagon (six sides) for the main logo. I was wondering if Logo creator has an expansion pak with all kinds of diffrent shapes?

Thanks Shelly. I actually found it earlier after playing around with the fonts. Guess it helps to do some homework before one posts. *lol*

Here's an example of the ring I'm working on. It's a bit rough at the moment seeing as I tossed it together rather quickly (the hexigons aren't even) but it's a decent representation of what I have in planned. I'd like to intergrate a chain link fence effect, mushroom cloud, or a fall out sign in the background behind the word "war" and possibly toss in a barbed wire strands through the lettering.

Here's a little something I whipped up. Reminds me of an album cover for an 80's metal band. *lol* As son as I get time I plan on checking out the tutorial for making fonts appear more metaliic. That should really spice things up a bit.

Did you use shadow in order to give it a more 3d effect?
