This is what I have in mind, more for my business card background.
I don't know if I can use the Corvette for my background or if I will have legal issues with GM for this. Does anybody know?
    Any critiques will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Every "royalty free stock photography" site I know about has pictures of Corvettes ... and every clipart collection has corvette images so there shouldn't be an issue with GM itself. The only potential problem would be if you didn't take the photo yourself or have the picture taken by someone else (and own the rights to use the image.)..there could be an issue with the photographer .

You have a very strong concept for your business card, however, the image inserted into the text might not be your best option for your card. You might want to try doing the text in plain white because of the darkness of the tinted glass.

hmm, the plus doesn't stand out. I missed it on the 2nd and 3rd glance. "Pike's peak" with the background inserted throws it off a bit. Try white text, or maybe try snowcovered mountains with a hint of gray.

Katie, do you think he could get a a slightly tinted glass element on their for the "Clear bra" effect. Then that text could go behind it, maybe. Giving the "clear" look.

Here is an overlay to put on the car's glass. To make it pop I suggest putting a shadow on it once in place. I took as guess at what the font was...I used the embedded font "Materhorn".

The word "Plus" in the grillwork needs a little help.I don't know it is the color choice or if it has a shadow but it is a little too blurry. You might try duplicating the text using white (preferably without a shadow on either the text and the duplication of the text).. place it in back of the text and move it off slightly to the side, up or down so it isn't directly behind it to give it a little POP.

    KD and Homesight,
Thank you so much for the help.

KD-did - I love the glass look that you did to the Matterhorn Font. How did you do that? That was what I was looking for to do my "Clear Bra" in. I was trying to do what Homesight suggested and make the "Clear Bra" look clear or glass-like.

For Pikes Peak, I did use Matterhorn but I added an actual picture of Pikes Peak into the font; it looks much clearer than in the pic I posted. I will work on it some more with your suggestions in mind - thanks again.

If you attach just a png of the text here in this thread or tell me what font you used for the text "Clear Bra" I'd be more that happy to work my magic and leave you an attachment here in this thread.

I would love to see it when you get to the final stage of development.

    KD,
Here is the link to the .png file. I'm trying to make the "Clear Bra" transparent so the background color of the car shows through - sort of like the clear bra film. I had to add shadow to what I have in my current logo attempt to get it to stand out. I'm looking for another solution though and I like what you did earlier with "Pikes Peak".
    Thank You,
    Joe

Downloaded the file But ll I need is the text as a png...but it is good to have the other part to check my results on or the name of the font.As a time saver for both of us....open TLC and just hide all the elements except the "Clear Bra" text...export that as a png. When you close TLC do not save just close the application.. and the next time you open TLC every thing will be as it should be. you will see all things

If I am correct that is the embedded font named "Ravencroft" so I won't need a text png. Be back in a bit!!!
