1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

3-D web export anyone?

Today I was wondering, if anyone ever tried to use a realtime 3-D object created with the WGC on a website.
Since I didn't see any questions concerning that topic, I thought very few people must have tried that, as I can imagine, that it would raise some questions.
Anyway, if anyone is interested I just exported an object and put it on my website to demonstrate how it works.

If anyone is interested and needs more info, than can be found in: Web Graphics Creator/eCover Creator/ReleaseNotes_Version2.html
    feel free to ask

I forgot to mention another thing.
It is not exactly obvious (if you happen to have missed the release notes file inside the folder "eCover Creator" inside your WGC installation folder :-), that you can have more than one model appearing in your published web application. Just "Publish this model..." into the same folder you already published the first model and both objects will be available through the model selection popup menu at the bottom right.

I just updated the example on my website, so another object "Gift Box" with custom images can be selected via the menu at the bottom.
