  2. And did you already have the first part downloaded and installed? Did you just click through the installation process or did you try pathing it else where than the Documents location?

    That means you haven't made any purchases since March 06, 2015. That means you do need a new members download account.The old files are not necessarily available Did you send a receipt with you purchase info? You will be able to download the program but being able to re-coop your work will depend if you made backups.     There use to be an option to change the DPI but that has changed. Make sure you don't send a thumbnail size file. And use your Photoshop to open an exported file and change the DPI there.

    I had no issue just now signing in. Were you trying to enter a specific area or the whole members account? You might want to be sure you entered the assigned password by reporting you forgot the password. https://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/members/login/ You might have to manually enter the password each time. I have had that kind of issues. .

    Have you setup your members download account? It is the newest system set up March 6 2015. If you have a members account you are good to go. Besides having a back-up I like to make files of ALL my templates elements. I save them so I have all the individual parts so if in the case of incompatibility I can make totally new templates. Having all the files without any being TC I stay good to go.

    You need to go to the canvas format and uncheck. You may not be able to size exactly to your needs and will have to use a resizing program .     Is this a fresh installation or a re-installation? Check for any DS_STORE files and delete them. They are used by Macs and are not understood by Windows.

    You need to establish a members account through the member pages.Put in a request for member account and provide Marc with email addresses and sales transaction information. You will be sent an email to the address with a password assigned to it. I removed your email information so that spambots would not pick up your address. Printing dot in the name use to prevent issues but I don't know if that is still true.So I opted to remove the gmail ID names.

    Send an email with the email address that you would have used. Marc, will have to do a search and maybe able to locate you so you could get all your purchases to re-download.There is a download available for The Creator but it is a limited demo on dowloads.com Check out. https://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/free-logo-design-software/ You could just purchase one of the new editions and be made whole again. Being TC 8 is off in the near future you might want to be ready.

    Sounds like you aren't in the newer members list....which was setup March of 2015. No back purchases were entered so that the reason for the request....... Go to back to the members page and send an email (use question mark icon)for membership and any receipt that you have. Mention you need a fresh download .You will receive an email back with an assigned password.

    The V6.8 had to stay, it is the content files. The V7 is just program files...no content. You could delete the icon but not uninstall. You should use your backup files or delete the Laughingbird Document folder and use your members account to get a fresh download.     That is very strange. I haven't heard of that issue since the 7 was released. You might want to start with making sure your Adobe Air is up to date. Have you done a cold re-boot since installing the update? Did you move or delete V6.8 before downloading and installing the update? What format is your OS?
  20. You should get a fresh download from your Members account and install as usual. If you don't have a members account send a receipt and get one setup for you by Marc or Lisa. They will set you up with a password at the same time.The Members account is the new way of getting your downloads now. It was setup as the NEW download portal in March 2015. https://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/members/ Click on the question mark icon to send email request and receipt.
  21. Now that I've updated to version 7.0, what should I do with version 6.8? First: DO NOT UNINSTALL VERSION 6.8! Many users doing so have inadvertently uninstalled all their installed templates! It's safe to MANUALLY DELETE the old 6.8 icon, but please do not uninstall version 6.8! SECOND: Only use the icon with the little 7 on it once you install the update to version- the old icons that started earlier versions of the program, and the YouTube Channel Graphics Creator are no longer needed once you install the update to version 7.0!

  23. SIMPLY put the program doesn't overwrite itself. Never has. It looks for the file....then sees it as being there and adds only the new files.....so it is on your machine 1 time. There is a huge difference between deleting an icon and uninstalling, It is why a clean install must be done from the start when you delete the program. There is no content if the V6.8 is deleted.
  24. Why not just delete the icons? The program is installed just once but shows the multiple icons.
  25. Shouldn't that be controlled by your controls for your printer? For instance the "Photo" setting???What OS are you?
