By far, The Logo Creator is the most unique application from the Laughingbird Software stable. And it’s a great design. For the graphic designer, or the amateur working on personal projects or lending a hand at work, Logo Creator delivers.

It takes just a few minutes to learn and once you know how it works you spend the rest of your time experimenting and exploring. I created a series of logos and showed them to a professional graphic designer and his response was surprising, he said he wasn’t aware that I had any training in design. I hadn’t, but Logo Creator is so flexible that I was able to put together good design elements with a lot of trail and error.

Each logo 'set ' comes with over 25 customizable templates that you will get you started in seconds. As you experiment with your logo you’ll love the 64 levels of undo. I found myself using this feature a lot.

Logo Creator’s graphics are PNG Transparent, and you can import PNG formats as well. Of course, you can export your logos as PNG’s or JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and more.

If you are in need of a good tagline but find yourself stuck you’ll love the Tagline/slogan generator. I was able to create some awfully clever taglines without a lot of work.

Special Effects can be applied instantly. Drop shadows, gloss, emboss, and more make your logos stand out. With 64 levels of undo you can try them all and just step back to previous one when you need to.

Logo Creator is incredibly easy to use. I wanted to try and use this app without reading a single thing about it, and I did. The interface is very intuitive. Navigating around the interface is fast, and fun. You feel creative when you are working with it, and the results are outstanding. Anyone can design with Logo Creator, and with the expansion pack you gets dozens of additional elements to work with that give you even more flexibility.


The Logo Creator is a real bargain for $29.95. If you get paid for designing logos, banners, or brochures it pays for itself many times over with the very first project.

This is one powerful app for $29.95. While many professional designers might want to turn their nose up at this package they would be doing themselves a disservice. I’m not saying that Logo Creator will take the place of pro-level apps like Illustrator and Freehand, but the times that professionals need to put something together quickly there isn’t anything better than The Logo Creator.
