I would like to have the ability to write the text at one time and have the option for it to be horizontal or verticle. As it is now the only way for it to appear correctly is to type a letter >>>return>>>type>>>return etc. Using "rotable" and flipping isn't a solution.
Creating vertical text Ha! I finally get to teach you a trick KD. Try this: Create some text. Click the Attribute button and select "Rotatable text" Set the first (Text Angle) to 90 degrees, and the second (character angle) to 270. Set your character spacing as needed. So yes, a specific feature for this would be nice. I'll see if we can program this in. See the screenshot attached. This doesn't work 100% - some fonts don't space well. You'll have to play around with a few fonts to get the perfect look. Marc
I usually do a left justification type letter>>>hit return etc method because it works with all fonts and has fewer spacing issues.
